Neighborhood Support

Updated 2020 NIW
Neighborhood Impact Week is September 21-26, 2020. During that week we are encouraging residents to take time out and make an impact on their neighborhood. Residents can participate in several ways; hosting a neighborhood cleanup, inviting neighbors to participate in a yard decorating contest, lighting up your neighborhood with luminaries or lanterns, putting in a neighborhood designation sign, and by just enjoying a cup of lemonade on your porch while being friendly and saying hi to your neighbors. All these activities can be done while social distancing and staying safe.

Take time to impact your neighborhood not only during this week but throughout the year!

Neighborhood Support offers capacity building training and organizational resources to neighborhood associations within Lima, and encourages the development of neighborhood partnerships between the city, local citizens, businesses, and other service providers.
