For the first several weeks of the project, the contractor will focus their efforts on Wayne Street between Cole Street and Jameson Avenue and then gradually move east towards Central Ave. The limits are Wayne Street from Cole St. to Central Ave. and High Street from Metcalf St. to Central Ave.
The components of the project include selective walk replacement, ADA ramps, curbs, drainage, pedestrian safety enhancements, traffic signal upgrades, waterline adjustments, and resurfacing.
The cost of the project is $3,337,964 and is being funded through ODOT STP and SAFETY funds, City of Lima Gas Tax funds, and City of Lima Storm Water and Water Utility Funds.
