I had a previous balance on this month’s bill and I see an additional $10 labeled “Late Payment Penalty” on my bill. What is this for?
The $10 Late Payment Penalty is charged as part of your current bill for non-payment of the prior month’s bill by the due date. The fee is calculated as $10 or 10%, whichever is greater. For example, Late Payment Penalty with a previous balance of $300 will be $30.
