Schoonover Park
This 69 acre park was donated to the city of Lima in 1937 by Thomas R. Schoonover. Schoonover Park provides many amenities for the recreational visitor. Featuring a 25-acre lake, multiple shelter houses, a public pool, basketball courts, playground equipment, walking trails and Lima's only observatory, Schoonover Park remains a destination for many visitors of Lima. Schoonover Park is located on the east side of town along Findlay Road.
