Central Fire Station is located at 433 S. Main Street. This building houses the administrative offices and the main firefighting body of the department. The Command Car, Engine 1, Rescue 1, Ladder 1, Medic 1 & 2, both Rescue Boats and a reserve engine are based out of this station. Central is manned by a Battalion Chief, one Captain, one Lieutenant and five to eight firefighters daily. Central’s crew responds to calls from Kibby Street (south) to the railroad and Latham Avenue (north) for single engine responses and the entire city for first alarms, rescues and extrications.

Station 3 is located at 1199 N. West Street at the corner or N. West Street and Robb Avenue. Engine 3 is housed here and is manned by a Lieutenant and two to three firefighters. Station 3 covers the north end of the city (north of the railroad tracks and Latham Ave.) for single engine responses and the entire city for first alarm responses.

Station 6 is located at 700 E. Third Street at Third and Branson. Engine 6 is housed here and is manned by a Lieutenant and two to three firefighters. Station 6 covers the south end of the city (south of Kibby St) for single engine responses and the entire city for first alarm responses.
