Administrative Services is commanded by Major Patrick Coon and Sgt. Beverly Leary who provide direct supervision of the division. The personnel assigned to this division include records clerks, a Technology Coordinator, a D.A.R.E. /School Safety Officer, a Parking Meter and Vehicle Maintenance person, Immobilization Officer, and Crime Prevention Specialists.
In general, Administrative Services is responsible for ensuring that the other divisions have the supplies and equipment available they need to complete their duties. Some of the more specific duties of the division include purchasing, vehicle and equipment maintenance, parking meter maintenance, budget development and management, crime prevention activities, police records storage, retrieval and destruction, management of our hiring process, grant management, employee recognition program, information technology management, department history and the production of the annual report.
