Welcome From the Police Chief

On behalf of the Lima Police Department, I would like to welcome you to our website. I hope this site will serve as a communication resource for the citizens and visitors we serve.

Our members, both sworn and civilian, are committed to serving the community to the best of our ability. It is our mission to work in partnership with the community. It is only through a police-community partnership that the Lima Police Department can truly be successful in making the City of Lima a safer, better community in which to live and work. You will find through our website, examples of the partnerships that exist between department members, citizens, businesses, and other governmental agencies. I hope you will find ways in which you, too, can partner with us if you are not already doing so. Citizen/police partnerships are the foundation on which our current and future plans are built.
