Lima Police Bike Team
The Lima Police Department Bike Team has been in existence since 1994. One member of the Team is a certified instructor through the International Police Mountain Bike Association and has trained and certified many of the current members. The bikes are used as part of shift assignments as well as special events. Bikes give officers the ability to approach areas undetected and allow them to be more accessible to the public while they ride.
