What is a Proclamation?

A Proclamation is an official announcement of an important matter that recognizes an issue that impacts the Lima community on a specific day, week, or month. Proclamations are issued upon citizen request and at the Mayor’s discretion to draw awareness to a specific public policy, historical event, or figure.

How do I Request a Proclamation?

Requests should be made by filling out this FORM. Please know proclamation language submitted may be edited, rewritten, or rejected.
